A beautiful rare piece, this antique Dutch Delft tile dates to the 17th Century.
Likely to date to around 1650, this is a remarkable piece of history and is a decorative antique piece in its own right.
Featuring blue and white decoration, the centre of the tile depicts a goat standing in grass, within a blue frame and circle cord border.
It is in very nice condition, especially considering its age. The colouring of the goat has lightly faded, and there is light crazing to the surface of the tile. There are some pock marks and light chips to the tile's surface and some small chips to the edge. However, there is no loss to the tile and it is in its original condition with no restoration.
