An unusual vintage wirework egg rack, with space for three dozen eggs (plus additional storage space), dating from the early to mid 20th Century
Sourced from France, this French wirework egg rack is in good sturdy condition. The wirework has been painted a creamy white colour which has weathered and worn, making it a classic timeworn piece. The egg rack has space for 36 eggs on top but can be slid out with additional storage space below.
This basket has aged well, although there is some oxidisation and wear in places. The rack does require a little effort to slide out but it still works well. ,
