Large Vintage French Cast Iron Herisson Bouteilles - Bottle Dryer

Dating from the mid 20th Century, this is an excellent and sturdy example of a French bottle drying rack. 

Used in France to dry out bottles of wine, beer and cider after use, this cast iron bottle drying rack is an excellent vintage interior accessory for the home. In French, they are known as herisson bouteilles, due to their hedgehog shape. They are perfect for hanging mugs on.

In very good condition, it is very sturdy, with all of the original hooks in place. The black paintwork has been knocked and has lightly oxidised in places but overall it's a lovely example.
