Large Vintage French Boudoir Box

Designed to store delicate garments in in the bedroom, this boudoir box is an excellent example, covered in a pretty blue floral fabric.

This is still perfect for many uses around the home now, and is particularly suited as storage for sewing or haberdashery.

Available from high end department stores, this one still has its original label from Galerie Lafayette in Paris.

Covered in its original French textile fabric, the lid is padded and the inside is lined with a stunning crocodile print pinky red paper.

The condition of this box is fair, especially considering its age. The fabric has frayed in most of the corners of the box. There is also some staining to the box in places, most notable on the top.
