Dating from the 19th Century, this is a great large sized stoneware French jug. It's perfect for adding an authentic rustic country look to your interior.

A French country piece, this would have been used to keep wine, oil or milk in, the cool stoneware helping to preserve different foods in a countryside property. And although it's attracted some age and wear in its lifetime, this has added natural timeworn charm.
