This is a beautiful weathered 19th Century dish.
Large in size, it has a beautiful peachy coloured glaze which has worn and aged over time. This dish would have been used as a cooking pot and so it bears the marks of having been subjected to high temperatures over the years. But this has given it a unique charm and patina.
Perfect for use now as a planter or centrepiece.
There are no cracks but there are areas where the glaze has worn and broken. There are some chips to the base rim but these aren't overly notable. But the colouring of this piece is absolutely stunning and truly unique.
