Large Antique Early 20th Sepia Transferware Terre de Fer Serving Bowl

This is a beautiful example of a large antique early 20th Century French transferware terre de fer bowl, made by HB & Cie.

The sepia transferware pattern on this bowl is beautiful, with birds sitting on a grape vine. The bowl is a fantastic large size, perfect for use as a salad or serving dish, or as a fruit bowl.

Considering this bowl is more than 100 years old, it is in fantastic condition, with no cracks or chips. There is light coffee coloured crazing all over but this blends in perfectly with the colouring of the pattern and adds natural timeworn charm.
