Large Antique Early 20th Century Wirework English Egg Basket

This is a lovely antique wirework basket, designed to store eggs in.

English in origin, this large wirework basket dates from the early 20th Century. With natural wear, it’s perfect for adding a rustic touch to your kitchen decor. A great size to hold a dozen eggs with ease.

The basket is in excellent condition for its age, with all the wirework in a sturdy condition, the feet standing firmly, with no breakages and very little oxidisation except to the handle in places. A very usable and highly decorative piece of antique kitchenalia.
