Huge 11 Inch Antique French Confit Pot

A great extra large sized antique French glazed stoneware confit pot, which is the perfect size for a modern day decorative piece in the kitchen or around the home. A French country piece, it would have been used for preserving different foods in a countryside property.

Dating from the late 19th/early 20th Century, these stoneware pots are perfect for modern day use. It is rare to find large examples like this.

They add a rustic charm to a kitchen as a utensil pot, or look great used used for display purposes anywhere in the home or as a display for flowers. And the neutral, grey and beige hues of this pot work well in any interior.

These are rustic pieces and therefore come with natural flaws like drip marks from their time of production. This is a creamy beige colour but is has taken on some light staining over the years from where it has been used. This is more notable on one side of the pot compared to the other. However, overall the condition of this confit pot is excellent, with no cracks.
