Gilded Vintage French Frame

Dating from the early to mid 20th Century, this is a nice example of a gilt finished French wooden frame.

Perfect for a range of decorative purposes in the home, the border of this frame is particularly attractive, with a relief floral garland making its way around the frame.

There are a number of areas of small losses of the gilt work in places, most notably in one corner. And while the frame itself is secure, it does wobble a little when moved. However, the addition of a backing panel would secure it if desired.

The original hooks for attaching a painting or photograph remain.
