French Wirework Vintage Egg Basket

This is a lovely rustic antique wirework basket, designed to store eggs in.

French in origin, this wirework basket dates from the early 20th Century. With natural wear, and with a rich and dark patina, it’s perfect for adding a rustic touch to your kitchen decor. 

The basket is in good condition for its age. There are some twists to the metalwork in places, meaning the handle sits a little off centre and resulting in a few gaps in the wirework in places. There are also some small flecks of paint residue on one side but these aren't overly notable. 

It's a sturdy and still very decorative piece with plenty of more years of use left.
