French Antique Signed Oil on Canvas - Sunflowers Still Life

A beautiful example of an antique French signed oil painting, depicting a still life of sunflowers in an Alsace pottery vase, likely to date from the early 20th Century.

This is a beautiful example of a vintage oil painting on canvas, with layers and texture adding depth to the florals. The moodier background hues make the vividness of the sunflowers really stand out. It’s an eye catching piece of art work which is a great size for a wall or mantle shelf.

There is a little wear to this painting, with the edges frayed and worn, and appearing to have been restapled into position. There is also a small area in the centre of the board where the canvas has thinned and pierced slightly.
