French Antique Green Transferware Ravier

A delightful terre de fer oval serving dish, or what is known in France as a ravier.

Dating from the early 20th Century, this excellent quality French ironstone dish is a very pretty piece, with a pretty teal transferware border of scrolls and cornucopia.

Designed to serve appetisers and canapes on, this is a fantastic ravier plate. It bears a Moulin des Loups et Hammage terre de fer mark on its base and is in the Violetta pattern. 

The plate is in excellent order, with no chips of cracks, but there are some light age marks to the surface in places.
