Framed Vintage Still Life Postcard of Poppies

A sweet little piece, this is a framed still life postcard dating to the mid 20th Century.

The artist, N.H. Berger, was Swiss and their still lives of floral compositions often featured on postcards. This one, of bright and vivid poppies, has been framed in a glass frame finished off with coloured paper on the back and edging.

The edges of the frame have worn over time, and there is also a water mark to the right hand side of the window mat of the frame, but this isn't significant. A lovely decorative piece.
