Extra Large Rustic Stoneware French Oil or Vinegar Bottle

This beautiful stoneware bottle is the perfect decorative accessory for the home.

Dating from the 19th Century, this bottle would originally have contained locally produced oil or vinegar. It has warm, earthy tones and a naturally rustic appearance. The tones change on each side of the bottle, with one side being notably paler in colour, creating an interesting and unique patina. As it's watertight, it is ideal for use as a bud vase to show off single stems.

In lovely condition, there is a small chip to the top rim plus some nibbles to the edge of the base rim.
