Extra Large Luneville Cafe au Lait Bowl

A fantastic extra large example of a plain white terre de fer cafe au lait bowl. It is a gorgeous shape, with a simple yet elegant silhouette.

With a mark on its base dating it to the turn of the 19th and 20th Centuries, this large coffee bowl is in remarkable condition. There is one small hairline on the top rim but this is tight and stable. There is some discolouration in places, mainly focused in the base of the bowl where it has been used. Plus there are some firing and pock marks from the time of production.

On the whole, though, it's in good clean condition with no chips.
