English Advertising Pot - Cooperative Wholesale Society Extract of Meat

A lovely small white ironstone English advertising pot for the Cooperative Society which isn't often seen.

Featuring the 'Labor and Wait' pictoral trademark to the centre of the pot, this extract of meat pot is a lovely timeworn example. It carries the company's addresss in Leman Street, East London.

Having been discarded in an old dumping ground, this does carry signs of age, with some timeworn and stained crazing all over (although featuring more heavily on the top half). There are no chips although there is a small nibble to the base rim. There have also been some minor knocks to the top rim, which has some cracks to the glaze running down from them, although these are not hairlines and do not penetrate through the ironstone.
