Decorative French Earthenware Bottle

This beautiful earthenware bottle is the perfect decorative accessory for the home.

Dating from the 19th Century, this bottle would originally have contained locally produced oil or vinegar. It has warm, earthy tones and a naturally rustic appearance. The tones change on each side of the bottle, creating an interesting and unique patina. As it's watertight, it is ideal for use as a bud vase to show off stems.

In lovely condition, there are some nibbles to the top rim but these aren't significant. There are also some grease marks in places, as a result of its use.
