Decorative Antique French Carved Pelmet or Wall Hanging

A lovely French carved wooden panel, which would make a wonderful decorative feature above a door or on a wall.

Repurposed from a piece of furniture (the holes where this was attached run down through each end of the panel), and most likely dating to the 1800s, this wooden panel features symmetrical carved details, with a scalloped middle section flanked by cornucopia on each side.  

In good condition for its age, there is just one small area in the middle of the carving at the top where the wood has worn a little. Otherwise, it is in excellent condition, with the carving still very crisp and clear.
