A versatile, useful and decorative cake tin, bearing the advertising mark for Raisley flour, dating from the early 20th Century.
This 8 inch cake tin is a great piece of antique kitchenalia to have in the home. Although it is simple in style, the tin is embossed with the advertising mark for ‘RAISLEY’. Produced by Brown & Polson, this was a type of flour they produced. Brown & Polson were renowned for including their advertising on a range of kitchen products.
In good overall condition, there is a little build up of residue and some surface scratches to the tin. However, these aren’t substantial and it’s still a sturdy tin that’s perfectly usable in the kitchen today.
