Chippy Antique French Ironstone Confiture Pot

A fabulous chunky ironstone confiture pot, with a Digoin & Sarreguemines mark on its base dating it to the early 20th Century.

These are a beautiful shape for use around the home. Perfect for trinkets or to pop a dried hydrangea in.

This is a chippy example, with some wear and age from use. Most notably, there is crazed staining covering half of the pot, creating a very unique patina. There is also a tight and stable hairline on one side and a chip to the base rim. 

Nonetheless, it is a very eye catching and useful decorative French piece
