Chippy Antique Cafe au Lait

I love the rugged aged appearance combined with the earthy tones of the cream and dark brown on this cafe au lait bowl. 

Although plain and simple in its style, it stands on a raised foot and has a lovely ribbed shape. Made in Italy, it dates to the early part of the 20th Century. 

There are no cracks on this bowl but it does have a chippy appearance, with nibbles around the top rim and some marks to the base of the bowl from where it has been used.
