Buttery & Crazed Antique Ironstone French Confiture Pot

A fabulous chunky ironstone confiture pot, with a Gien mark on its base dating it to the early 20th Century.

These are a beautiful shape for use around the home. Perfect for trinkets or to pop a dried hydrangea in.

This example has beautiful colouring rippling across it, with lilac tones also showing through, which is mixed with crazing.

There is one hairline crack but this is stable and doesn't run through the whole of the pot. There are also a couple of knocks to the base rim but these don't affect the stability of the pot in any way. The crazing is more heavily stained on the base and inside of the pot.
