This is a listing for a lovely antique early 20th Century ironstone oval serving dish, or what is known in France as a ravier.
Dating from the early 20th Century, this is a wonderful quality sepia transferware French ironstone dish. It has a beautiful mark to its base for Grand Depot, and is in the Marguerite pattern.
This ravier is particularly nice because it has beautiful buttery crazing from where it has aged over time. This complements the sepia of the pattern beautifully. Aside from the aged colouring, the dish is otherwise in excellent condition with no cracks or chips.
Designed to serve appetisers and canapes on, this is a fantastic little serving dish.
