Beautiful Ormolu Miniature French Picture Frame

A very nice example of a miniature antique French brass photo frame, dating to the early part of the 20th Century. 

With a ribbon bow banner top, this frame is in very good condition and has beautiful detailing in the swag bow at the top and with floral detailing on the border itself. The easel back is still in perfect working order, and it has a ring at the top should you wish to hang this frame on the wall instead. The frame comes complete with its original glass pane and backing card. 

Made of brass and with an ormolu finish which is still largely in tact, this is a highly decorative antique piece. There is no damage, although there is some wear to the back cover from where it has been used over the years, and also some minor wear to the metal at the back from where the clasps have been opened and closed over time.
