Beautiful French Teal Platter - Birds

This is a gorgeous little terre de fer platter, made by St Amand et Hamage in the early part of the 20th Century.

In the Aucella pattern, it features a beautiful teal blue transferware pattern of a mother bird feeding her chicks, with butterflies flying at either side.

Given the age of this piece, it is a little chippy, with some mild staining to the centre of the plate and two chips around the rim. But there are no cracks and it's nonetheless still a very pretty and usable little platter.
