Antique White Ironstone Clarke's Pyramid Nightlight Holder

This is a listing for a beautifully aged Clarke’s ‘Fairy’ Pyramid nightlight holder, dating from around the 1930s.

Featuring prominent advertising all over, this is a lovely example. The under glazed black typography advertising is prominent all over this pot. Designed to use with Clarke’s pyramid night lights, it features prominent advertising on the front and the trademark Royal Crest on the back of the pot.

In fair condition for its age, this pot is sadly missing it’s original lid. However, it’s nonetheless still a very attractive piece of antique advertising in its own right. There are no chips or cracks. The glaze has lightly stained crazing all over. I suspect this is as a result of regular use. But the result is a lovely warm tea stained colouring which adds to the timeworn charm of the piece.

A great example of antique English advertising on ironstone pots which would look wonderful displayed in the home.
