Antique Victorian Turned Treen Measuring Cup
Antique Victorian Turned Treen Measuring Cup
These are lovely examples of a Victorian wooden measuring cup, available in either the half pint or pint measure. They both have a wonderful honey coloured patina to them.
Carrying the initials of Queen Victoria and a Crown mark, these treen measures date to the late 1800s. The VR cypher meant that the measure had been verified for accuracy.
Both these measures are in excellent condition considering their age. They are very tactile pieces, with a lovely feel to them but are very sturdy. There are some surface scratches but these too have weathered over time and adds to the natural timeworn charm of them both.
They are lovely pieces of kitchenalia to have on display in the home.
