Antique Spanish Wirework Birdhouse

This bird cage, sourced from Spain, is a delight.

These country pieces were always hand made, and hung up around villages for small birds to rest and recuperate in when they were ill.

In excellent condition, there are some kinks and knocks to the wirework in places but it is still in working order (the small door can be pushed up and down to open and close it) and is a pretty decorative piece for the home.
