Antique Signed Floral Oil on Canvas - Anenomes

A beautiful example of an antique early to mid 20th Century signed floral oil on canvas painting. 

Signed by the artist, H. Ttriaureau, this still life of a vase full of anenomes uses colour brilliantly to make the florals pop against the more muted background. I love the use of different shades to show the different tones in the petals, buds and foliage. 

In fair condition for its age, the canvas around the edge of the painting is now a little brittle and has frayed on the left hand side. There is also a small amount of damage to the vase section of the painting, where three small sections of paint have peeled away, although this isn't overly notable. 

It's a sweet piece, the bright colours of which are sure to put a smile on your face.
