Antique Gilded Brass Pediment

A beautiful example of a decorative French gilded brass panel. The sculpting on this pediment is exceptional and highly decorative, with a tied wreath of berries sweeping away from the central plaque section. Originally intended to be used as a pediment for the top of a frame or door frame, this would look equally stunning on a shelf or sideboard, adding a rustic French look to your decor. There is some light tarnishing in places, which is a little more pronounced on one patch on the left. Length, 30.7cm; Width, 8.3cm; Depth, 2cm There are holes for hanging along this plaque.
