This is a lovely rustic antique wirework basket, designed to store eggs in.
French in origin, this wirework basket dates from the early 20th Century. With natural wear, it’s perfect for adding a rustic touch to your kitchen decor. A great size to easily hold a dozen eggs with ease.
The basket is in excellent condition for its age, with all the wirework and the mesh netting in a sturdy condition with no breakages. There is some oxidisation to the basket in places but it is still a very usable piece.
Diameter, 19.5cm; Height, 30cm overall and 15cm to the top of the basket.
