Antique French Wicker Shopping Basket

This antique rustic French wicker basket, dating from the early twentieth Century, has bundles of character, and is perfect for either display or use. Finished with a banding of green and red chord around the edge and woven through the handle, it is a very pretty piece.

It is a great size to use as a small shopping basket or for collecting flowers, fruit or vegetables from the garden. Similarly, it would look great on display inside the home.

This has seen some use over the years and there are some areas of minor loss to the wicker, most notably on the handle and also a small amount in the base. But it is all in sturdy condition and is perfect for ongoing use.
