Antique French White Ironstone Berry Bowl by Sarreguemines

This is a stunning white ironstone French circular berry strainer, dating from the early 20th Century, with a mark for Sarreguemines on its base.

Simple in style, this pierced white ironstone berry bowl nonetheless has a timeless and classic look to it. This bowl is ideal used on display as part of a kitchenalia collection, and is good for day to day use when washing or peeling fruit and vegetables.

It is in very good condition, with no cracks or knocks. There are some light scuff marks and stains to the base, but it is overall very clean. There are also some cracks to the glaze on the base, but these do not penetrate through.
