Antique French Two-Tiered Wirework Cake Stand

Dating from the early 20th Century, this is a nice example of a French wirework cake stand. 

A well constructed piece which is still in very stable condition, this is perfect to use for cakes or other display purposes around the home. The wirework has been arranged in a pattern consisting of loops and straighter lines on each level, creating a unique look to it.

In overall good condition, there only appears to be a small amount of damage to the wirework near the top handle, where it has become loose and a small amount has broken away. Otherwise, it is in good order. There are patches of oxidisation across the stand, which are a little more notable on the lower tier.
