Antique French Terre de Fer Saladier

Produced by Moulin Loups & Hamage in the early part of the 20th Century, this is a stunning large saladier, or serving bowl.

In a teal green colourway, the Provence pattern features floral garlands and geometric friezes around the top and inside border, and is classically French in style.

The bowl is in good condition considering its age. It is largely clean, with some general wear to the top and base rims. Most notably, there is an area of stained crazing to the inside of the bowl, where there is also a tight and fine hairline. But this is stable, and the coffee colouring adds to the patina of the bowl.
