Dating from the early 20th Century, this is a very pretty antique French plate, with a stunning teal transferware floral 'Narcisses' pattern with daffodils around its border. It is made by Lebacqz & Bouchart, a respected St Amand pottery.
This plate is in very good condition, with no cracks or chips. It does have an aged patina, with some surfaced scratches and consequent light staining, but this adds a unique timeworn appeal.
There are no chips but there is a very light and faint star crack in the middle. However, the plate is stable and very usable still.
Perfect for use as a small serving or cake plate.
Diameter, 22cm; Height, 2.5cm
