Antique French Sheep Shaped Chocolate Mould

A lovely example of a large sculpted two-piece tin chocolate mould in the shape of a sheep, sourced from France.

Dating from the early 20th Century, this is a lovely piece to have on display in the home, especially at Easter time, or to make a chocolate Easter present with. This is a very sweet piece, with lovely detailing of the face and its fleece. Although there is no maker's mark, the mould number - 4111 - has been imprinted in one corner.

Unfortunately, the original clips which held this piece together are missing, but the mould is still usable (a bulldog clip would work as an alternative). While there is some tarnishing to the mould, it is otherwise in very good condition with no dents or bends in the tin.

Perfect to add to a kitchenalia collection or to put proudly on display around the home.
