Antique French Rare Chocolate Mould - Lion

A lovely rare find, a two-part figural chocolate mould in the shape of a lion.

Dating from the early 20th Century, this mould has natural wear and age but it is still usable or, alternatively, is a lovely piece to have on display in the home. Although there is no maker's mark, the mould number - 2025 - has been imprinted at the top of one side.  

Unfortunately, the original clips which held this piece together are missing, but the mould is still usable (a bulldog clip would work as an alternative). While there is some tarnishing to the mould, it is otherwise in very good condition with no dents or bends in the tin.

Perfect to add to a kitchenalia collection or to put proudly on display around the home.
