Antique French Pink Transferware Plate

A beautiful deep pink transferware plate dating from the early 20th Century, made by Caiffa in the Guirlande pattern.

The deep pink colouring of the plate blends beautifully with some light buttery colouring and crazing. The border is classically French in design, with scrollwork and garlands featuring.

It is in lovely condition, with no cracks or chips. There is crazing all over, which has lightly stained in places. And while there are some surface cracks to the glaze, none of these have penetrated through.
