Antique French Oil on Canvas Still Life Painting

This is a beautiful example of antique oil on canvas painting, featuring a still life of a vase, bottle and fruit bowl. Signed by the artist in the top left corner (I do not recognise the name), this painting is a striking piece. The use of dark background colours contrasts against the vividness of the blue vase and the fruit bowl. It's an eye catching piece of art work which is a great size for a wall or mantle shelf.

The painting is in very good condition with the canvas fully in tact, with just a small number of holes around the outside frame perhaps where it has perhaps been attached to another frame previously. There is a mark where a hair previously been attached to the painting has been removed but overall it's a lovely piece.
