Antique French Oi Painting on Board - Floral Still Life

A beautiful framed oil painting on board, dating from the late 19th/early 20th Century.

Depicting a still life of mixed florals in a blue vase, the beautiful and subtle use of colouring stands out. It's a beautifully executed ad delicate piece, with the direction of the brushstrokes bringing each section to life appropriately. The surrounding black and gold frame finishes the painting off perfectly.

Considering the age of the painting it's in good condition. There is a small stain to the bottom of the painting but this isn't significant. The only other sigs of wear is the frame, which has some minor wear in places.

A lovely small size, the bright colours really do catch your eye and draw you in. There is a hook fixed to the top of the back of the frame for hanging.
