Antique French Limoges Encrier

A very sweet and decorative Jean Pouyat Limoges inkwell.

With a mark on its base dating this piece to the early 20th Century, this encrier is highly decorative with three hand painted floral panels around its border contrasting beautifully against the deep green border. The central section was designed to hold ink, with three nib holders arranged around the outside.

There are some minor scuff marks and wear to the top rim but it is otherwise in very nice condition. A lovely decorative item for the home.
