Antique French Large Gilded Floral Pediment

A beautifully carved French wooden pediment or wall panel, with a gilded finish.

This is a lovely piece of panelling, with a floral garland framed by foliage at each end. The wood and gilding have fallen away in some places, but this adds to its character.

There are holes at each end to hang on the wall but this would look equally stunning on a shelf or sideboard, adding a rustic French look to your decor.
