Antique French Landscape Watercolour Painting in Gilt Frame

Available for sale individually, these two watercolour paintings are exquisite pieces of antique French artwork.

They are both delightful depictions of a river landscape - with delicate strokes capturing the beauty of the towering trees along the riverside, and the detail of the moored boat and lodges. 

Likely to date to the 1930s, they are in their original gilt finished frames. Both frames have suffered some mild wear and discolouration but this is more obvious on the frame of the picture on the right.

Overall, though, there's no doubt these are both special little paintings.
