Antique French Glass Jewellery Box with Embroidered Lid

Dating from the early to mid 20th Century, this is a very sweet antique French jewellery or trinket dish with some fantastic details.

The heavyweight glass base features acid etched lattice work and faded gold polka dots. The detail continues through to the lid which has a stunning inlaid pattern to the ormolu metalwork on both the border and underside, and a very pretty embroidered top, which is protected under a plastic coating.
