Antique French Buttery Teal Coloured Compotier

This is an excellent quality French ironstone compote dish, with gorgeous buttery colouring.

With a stunning mark for H Boulenger of Choisy le Roi in Paris, this terre de fer compotier dates to the late 19th Century and is in the Derby pattern. Its ink blue teal colouring of the botancial scrollwork blends beautifully with the aged patina.

These are such decorative pieces for the home, ideal for fruit in the kitchen or dried flowers elsewhere. 

There are no chips, cracks or damage, which is remarkable considering the age of this piece.
