Antique French Blue Spongeware Side Plate

These spongeware early 20th Century small side plates are delightful.

Each with a blue spongeware garland and floral border, the blue colouring is delicate and blends beautifully with the creamy colouring of the terre de fer.

Available to purchase individually, the left plate is a little later in date and consequently has richer blue colouring. There is a crack in the middle of the plate but it is tight and stable. Both plates also have some light wear to their edges but this isn't significant.
