Antique French Framed Oil Painting - Cowshed

This is one of my most favourite paintings which I've sourced in a while. Such a sweet piece, this oil painting on board depicts a French farmyard scene with cows resting in a cow shed.

Dating to around 1930, this painting is complete with its original frame and has some wonderful details, including the colouring of the cows and the farming accessories. I particularly love the open window, with the light and blue sky pouring in. 

Sitting in a gilded and painted frame, there is some minor damage to the frame, with loss to the gesso in places. There are also some old worm holes on the back of the frame, but these have been treated.
