Antique English Dummy Egg

These wonderful Victorian white ironstone eggs are a perfect display piece. They were used in chicken coops to encourage hens to lay more eggs.

Available to purchase individually, I have a total of two eggs available with varying patinas due to their use over the years. The left hand egg has had more use and subsequently has a few more scuff marks. The left egg also has some mild staining from use and the glaze has rubbed away more on this example.
